CDC: keeps students with flu at home

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — The CDC has reported that there has been an increase in cases of the flu in Georgia and is advising parents to keep students at home if they have the flu. Symptoms include fever/chills, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches and fatigue.

Fulton County Schools’ policy states that if your student has a fever of 100.4 or higher, he or she cannot return to school until they are fever-free for 24 hours without the aid of medication.
