ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A suspicious license plate pointed police May 2 to man wanted on a warrant in Gwinnett County.
While on Haynes Bridge Road, Alpharetta police noticed a license plate number did not match the car that it was attached to.
When they stopped the driver, 38-year-old Matthew Cutbill from Atlanta, Cutbill would not lower the window more than two inches, nor would he step out of the car despite multiple warnings.
An officer eventually pulled Cutbill out of the car and handcuffed him. While searching him, police found schedule II drugs on him and used syringes.
When they ran Cutbill’s information through their system, they found that Cutbill had a warrant out for his arrest from Gwinnett County. He also did not have a driver’s license.
Cutbill was arrested for possession of schedule II drugs, obstruction, driving while unlicensed and as a wanted person.
