ALPHARETTA, Ga. —The Alpharetta chapter of Young Men’s Service League closed out the 2016-17 school year at a banquet this May and recognized 23 members who will graduate late this month.
The high school seniors received “Service” cords representing their four-year commitment to service with YMSL and a minimum of 75 hours of service in the community.
The graduating class donated sports equipment to Foster Cares and made a donation to the Will to Live Foundation, both area non-profit organizations.
Senior class president, Connor Zahariades said, “Serving our community has been very rewarding. I believe that four-year commitment to serve as a teenager will foster a continued commitment to service throughout my life.”
