Milton hosts bulk trash amnesty day

MILTON, Ga. — Milton will host a bulk trash amnesty day for large items and electronics Aug. 19 from 8 a.m.— noon at 1810 Hembree Road, Roswell.

Large items such as mattresses and box springs, refrigerators, washers and dryers, grills, lawnmowers with fluids drained, sofas, tables and chairs and tires off the rim will all be accepted for drop off.

Electronics will also be accepted with the exception of televisions and monitors, which can be recycled at the Roswell Recycling Center for a fee.

Paint, hazardous waste, batteries, fluids and construction materials will not be accepted.

Milton residents will need a proof of residency and utility bills are preferred.
