New Eagle Scouts for the Northern Ridge District

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — The Northern Ridge Boy Scout District, which includes the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Milton, has revealed its newest Eagle Scouts. These Scouts passed their Board of Review on April 27.

The Scouts who passed their Eagle Board of Reviews, held at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church are:

Nicholas Pittman, of Troop 7153, was sponsored by St. Brigid Catholic Church. His project was the design and construction of six glass display cases, to hold artifacts, for the museum at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Sterling Johnston, of Troop 356, sponsored by Fellowship Christian School, whose project was the design and construction of a pedestrian bridge that connected an outside pathway in in the wooded area of North Park.

Taylor Berthelot, of Troop 841, was sponsored by St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. His project was the design and construction of a nature walk on the property of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Berthelot also created a clearing for youth groups to hold campouts.

Connor Neely, of Troop 27, sponsored by the Johns Creek Christian Church, whose project was the design and construction of three garden boxes and the repair of the existing garden boxes.

Vishal Rajakani, of Troop 27, was sponsored by the Johns Creek Christian Church. For his project, Rajakani designed and constructed an Adirondack shelter for the ducks located at the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center Duck Pond. He also constructed a base for the bunny exhibit at Autrey Mill Nature Center.

Robert Spradlin, of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of a walking bridge at Webb Bridge Park. This bridge connected the soccer fields to parking area, angling over a ditch.

Samuel Hendrick, of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of six foot-long, two level stepping stools for the kindergarten classes at Cogburn Elementary School.

Clay Voytek, of Troop 629, sponsored by Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of a wooden fence and the restoration of a bridge at the end of the fence line at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage center.

Zachary Weatherly, of Troop 27, sponsored by the Johns Creek Christian Church, whose project was the design and construction of a book library Kiosk next to the Children’s Playground at the Norcross Co-op Campus. He then collected 750 books to stock this Library kiosk.

Cole Barkelew, of Troop 841, who was sponsored by St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. His project was the design and construction of shelving units for the Band Room at Milton High School.  These shelves were built to hold all the trophies the band has and will win.

Alex Eldridge, of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, who designed and constructed a boardwalk over a muddy trail at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Ryan Spence, of Troop 629, sponsored by Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, who collected cereal boxes for North Fulton Community Charities.  Spence collected over 1,200 boxes of cereal for this charity.

Jackson Butler, of Crew 347, sponsored by Milton Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, whose project was the design and construction of an 80 foot Privacy Fence for EnAble GA.

Jayce Martini, of Crew 347, who was sponsored by Milton Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. For his project, Martini designed and constructed three benches for the Cyndi Hollingsworth  Memorial located at Bell Memorial Park.

Michael Dean, of Troop 3000, sponsored by Birmingham United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of a large 10 foot by 10 foot shade structure for Birmingham Falls Elementary School’s Playground.

Geoffrey Chance Gilbreth, of Troop 143, sponsored by John’s Creek United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of a Gaga Pit at Findley Oaks Elementary School.

Benjamin Ulrich, of Troop 985, who was sponsored by Northbrook United Methodist Church. His project was the design and construction of a patio for the Northbrook House at Northbrook United Methodist Church.  Ulrich also refurnished the hose/connection as well as restoring an existing walkway.
