Susan Fuller Wolling, “Susu”, age 74, passed away peacefully in her Milton, GA, home the morning of September 9th after a courageous 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Her will to live and goal to see her oldest granddaughter graduate highschool kept her going. Her doctor called her his “Miracle Patient”. She was beautiful, fun and always a straight- shooter – ask for her opinion and she would give you an honest answer, like it or not. She loved her family with all of her heart.

Susan was born in Lexington, Kentucky. She grew up in Atlanta, GA and attended the first graduating class of Sandy Springs High School. She relocated to Savannah, GA, with her parents in 1961 when her father opened Fuller Oldsmobile, a successful automotive dealership. While living in Savannah became a mother to Amy. She was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, Symphony Guild and The Children’s Theatre.

Susan enjoyed gardening, birds and nature and was called the “flower lady” by her friends and family, who would often call on her for gardening advice. She was also an excellent cook, known for her great southern recipes! She loved golf and as a former member of the Champions Club of Alpharetta, she wasn’t the best golfer but one afternoon she totally surprised herself and her foursome by getting a hole in one! She also enjoyed spending time with her many good friends at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center. She was a member of the Alpharetta Golden Age Club and enjoyed working and volunteering in the ceramics workshop until this past summer when her cancer returned.

She will be dearly missed by her only living child, daughter, Amy Moss, son-in-law, Colin Moss, granddaughters, Victoria “Tori” Johnson and Sophia Moss of Milton, GA; brother, William G. Fuller, Jr. “BG” and Joy Fuller, of Savannah, GA; sister, Gaye Fuller of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sam Wolling, of Roswell, GA, still remains her best friend and life love. She was preceded in death by her parents, William G. Fuller, Sr. and Mary Fuller, and Susan’s infant son, William David.

There will be a Chapel service at 2pm Sunday, September 17 at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell GA 30075

Graveside inurnment will follow, Saturday, September 30th for friends & family at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA
